Jacobs Levy Equity Management Center for Quantitative Financial Research at The Wharton School

In September 2011, in honor of Jacobs Levy Equity Management’s 25th anniversary, Bruce Jacobs and Ken Levy founded the Jacobs Levy Equity Management Center for Quantitative Financial Research at The Wharton School and the Wharton-Jacobs Levy Prize for Quantitative Financial Innovation.

Mission Statement

The Jacobs Levy Equity Management Center for Quantitative Financial Research is dedicated to the advancement of quantitative finance through the creation and dissemination of innovative knowledge. The Jacobs Levy Equity Management Center aims to fund research on, and enhance the understanding of financial markets through the study and promotion of quantitative techniques and methods as applied to such fields as the analysis of domestic and international stocks and bonds, the management of investment portfolios, and corporate finance.

The Jacobs Levy Center also grants the biennial Wharton-Jacobs Levy Prize for Quantitative Financial Innovation to recognize one or more persons who have published peer-reviewed journal articles that demonstrate outstanding quantitative research that has contributed to a particular innovation in the practice of finance.
